The Annual Dinana Minagof Festival will be held at the Gef Pa’go Chamorro Cultural Village in Inarajan this year on February 13 and 14, 2010. For those people interested in operating concession booths during the event you can pick up information packets at the gift shop at the cultural village.

It’s that time of the year again when everyone is getting into the holiday spirit! The shopping centers are no exception as they put up the Christmas decorations to get everyone in the mood for the holidays. The Micronesia Mall in the village of Dededo will be offering its Holiday Lights and Snow Shows starting today and all throughout the month of December; so bring the entire family to the spectacular holiday shows which include enchanting snowfalls that you can only experience at Micronesia Mall.

The 2009 Guam Gatorade Ko’ko Road Race is just around the corner, scheduled for October 18, 2009. This year’s race course passes through the villages of Tumon, Tamuning, Hagatna, and Asan. The course starts and finishes at Ypao Beach Park. Runners will enjoy scenic ocean views while running alongside pristine white sandy beaches and sparkling ocean water on Marine Corps Drive the majority of the race.

The village of Tumon is hosting the Guam Micronesia Island Fair in mid-October. There will be cultural performances, arts and crafts, traditional canoes on display, and authentic products made by the respective Micronesian or Mariana Islands. The Guam Micronesia Island Fair will be held at Ypao Beach Park so come on down and enjoy the festivities with the rest of Guam!
